Students will be celebrating International Day with each classroom representing a different continent to explore. Activities may include folk dancing, art, games, and displays from many countries around the world. We'll be having a potluck international luncheon at mid-day, and we invite parents to come and join us for the feast (and to help out too). Each family will be asked to bring a dish from any country or culture for our potluck feast (please remember to leave out the refined sugars, and concentrate on lots of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.)We encourage students (and adults) to come to school in ethnic costumes and to share experiences and knowledge about cultures they are studying or places they have visited.
