Celebrate the end of the school year with a barbecue potluck, class performances, and Bridging Ceremony. Come early at 5 to set up barbecues. Remember to bring something for your family to barbecue and a side dish, salad, or dessert for potluck. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. your own beverages to drink (no alcohol), and reusable plates, utensils, bowls, napkins for your family. The Bridging Ceremony celebrates the transition between developmental levels, so children at the end of their elementary level years will be transitioning from childhood to adolescence, and those at the end of their preschool/kindergarten years will be transitioning from infancy to childhood.
