Free food for all students!

Tree of Life Charter School participates in the Community Eligibility Provision as well as Universal Free Meals. This allows us to cut down on paperwork while still providing ALL students with free breakfast and lunch every school day.

Meal offerings during the school year

At Tree of Life Charter School, we prioritize the health and wellbeing of our students by providing free scratch-cooked meals for breakfast and lunch. Our school knows that students who eat healthy meals throughout the day perform better academically, have more energy to participate in physical activities, and develop positive eating habits. Students can choose from a variety of vegetarian dishes, cooked with fresh ingredients in our school's kitchen. Our school meal program ensures that students receive balanced, nutritious meals to fuel their minds and bodies for optimal learning and growth. Our meals meet or exceed all state and federal requirements for nutrition and quantity. When possible, foods do not contain refined sugar and are certified organic. No food ever contains artificial sweeteners or food colorings. Monthly menus are posted here as well as on ParentSquare. Paper menus are available upon request.

Meals during non-instruction days

This summer the county is implementing a new program called SUN Bucks. This program will help eligible households with money for food over the summer break. Please check out the link below for more information:
